Privacy Policy

Data we collect

We collect only what we need to run the service:

• •Account details: your name and email address, and a securely hashed password.
• •Connection token: to operate the bot on your behalf we store an encrypted, revocable access token for your driver account. We never store your driver-account password.
• •Service configuration: your filters, schedules, and bot settings.
• •Activity data: records of rides monitored, evaluated, accepted, or skipped, and related logs, used to run and explain the service.
• •Billing data: your subscription plan and status. Card payments are handled by our payment processor — we never see or store card numbers.
• •Support communications: messages you send us and our replies.
• •Technical data: IP address, device/browser information, and product-usage events collected via privacy-respecting analytics and error monitoring.

How we use your data

• •To provide the service: connect your account, run the bot, apply your rules, and show your dashboard and activity.
• •To secure accounts: authentication, abuse prevention, and rate limiting.
• •To bill you and manage your subscription.
• •To support you and respond to your requests.
• •To improve reliability and the product through aggregated analytics and error monitoring.
• •To send service and transactional emails (and, where you opt in, product updates).

Legal bases (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of our contract with you (to provide the service and billing); our legitimate interests (to secure, maintain, and improve the service); your consent (for optional analytics cookies and marketing emails, where required); and compliance with legal obligations.

Sharing and processors

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers ('processors') that help us run AutoCatch, under appropriate agreements:

• •Cloud hosting and database (EU-based infrastructure).
• •Product analytics — PostHog (EU region).
• •Error and performance monitoring — Sentry (EU region).
• •Transactional email delivery.
• •Payment processing (PCI-compliant provider).
• •Messaging notifications you choose to enable (e.g. Telegram).

International transfers

We host and process data primarily within the EU/EEA. Where a processor transfers data outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records (for example, billing records) to meet legal obligations. You can disconnect your driver account at any time, which revokes the stored access token.

Security

We protect data with encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and encryption of sensitive material at rest (AES-256-GCM for the stored access token). Access to production is restricted, each account runs in an isolated session, and actions are logged. No system is perfectly secure, but security is a core part of how AutoCatch is built. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children

AutoCatch is a business tool for professional drivers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the 'last updated' date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate.
